About the site

My name is Karsten Vestergaard and I am an associate professor at the Danish School of Media and Journalism, where I teach interaction design, user experiences and software technologies.

I have a Professional Master in Interaction Design (from the IT University in Copenhagen), and in my thesis I introduced the concepts of the rolling paradigm shift, the digitally decoupled self and a related model to enable interdisciplinary scientific studying in the area.

This site is meant to elaborate on the concepts and explore them further. By doing this, I hope to gather enough insight and empirical data to be able to describe the theory behind the thesis in more detail.

If you have any questions or like to take part in the dialog, feel free to contact me or write in the comment section.

Kind Regards
Karsten Vestergaard
